Scripts
This page contains example scripts posted on the RoboHelp forums designed for use with the ExtendScript Toolkit in RoboHelp 8. My thanks to Praful Jain at Adobe for the content.
- Update the topic status to “Ready for Review” and have that status visible in the topic when it is published. This is useful when sending help files to reviewers/testers so they can see which topics are ready for review/test. Click here.
- Clear the topic status. To be used in conjunction with the update topic status script (see above) to remove the “Ready for Review” status following a review. Click here.
- Identify which topics are not in a Browse Sequence. Click here.
- Updates the file extension on image files from .BMP to .PNG. Click here.
- Popup placement fixer which fixes their placement after upgrading a RoboHelp X4 project. Click here.
- Fixes bugs in the design time control for Related Topic buttons using Javascript. See this forum thread for details. Click here for the script.
- Reset the image size for all images in a project. Click here for the script.
